FITAOS RIG Review: What 40 Verified Buyers Say

The FITAOS RIG collects its reviews directly on its product page: 40 of them, every one a verified purchase, averaging 4.8 out of 5, spanning September 2022 to April 2026. We read all 40. This article quotes buyers word for word, keeps the complaints in, and tells you what kind of person this watch suits — and who should pick a different model.

This is one of three single-model reviews we published this month. If you're comparing across the lineup, start with the VEE review and the Pro 10 review, or read the six-model roundup.

What RIG Buyers Mention Most

Forty reviews, one pattern: no other model in our lineup gets talked about for its heart features the way the RIG does. Nearly half of all buyers bring up the ECG or heart rate on their own — nothing else comes close.

The Praise, In Their Words

The single most common argument buyers make for the RIG is economic: ECG without the flagship price. Orlando said it plainly three years ago, and the theme hasn't changed since:

"Great watch. I expected the watch to sacrifice quality because of the price. I was wrong. The watch and Veepoo app work great. I bought the watch for the ECG which most fitness watches do not have unless you want to pay $300-$500 bucks. Bottom line this watch is well worth it."

The second pattern is nighttime use. Anna's review is the most detailed on the page about what the watch actually does while you sleep:

"RIG watch has awesome technology that I mainly use at night to track my sleep patterns: automatic oxygen sensor (for sleep apnea), low oxygen alarm (which a twice-as-expensive watch from a reputable brand does not have), and heart rate monitoring while you sleep."

And the third is that setup takes minutes, not an evening. Walter bought his this February:

"Setup super easy and first week of tracking all measurements lasted 5 days before battery recharge required. For the second week, I will try reducing number of parameters being tracked to see how long battery lasts."

The Complaints, Unedited — and Our Answer

Three-star and four-star reviews here are honest, and two topics repeat: battery life and blood-oxygen readings.

"So far I like it but the battery does not last even 24 hours other than that it's a great watch"

Chris D. · December 2024 · ★★★★ · verified purchase

"Love the watch , but Battery only lasts 1 week"

Roxanne G. · February 2026 · ★★★★ · verified purchase

What kind of problem this is: a settings problem more often than a defect. Battery life depends heavily on how many parameters run at once — Walter's review above shows the workaround: track everything in week one, then dial back what you don't need. Expect roughly five to seven days with a full schedule, less if continuous readings run all day.

"It’s a fabulous looking watch. It’s very comfortable. It’s easy to read and use. I just wish the oxymetry worked better on it"

Keith C. · May 2025 · ★★★ · verified purchase

What kind of problem this is: wrist fit and skin contact. Wrist oxygen readings are sensitive to how snugly the watch sits and to skin temperature and hydration — the same dry-skin issue that affects on-demand readings on every wrist wearable, ours included. A snug-but-not-tight fit a finger's width above the wrist bone, steady contact, and a few seconds of stillness usually settle it.

Who the RIG Fits

  • You specifically want an ECG recording feature without paying $300-$500. This is the model reviewers choose it for, and it's the reason heart features dominate its review page.
  • You care about overnight trends — sleep, nighttime heart rate, oxygen — more than sports metrics.
  • You're willing to manage battery settings rather than expect a fixed seven days regardless of configuration.

If those aren't your priorities: the VEE review covers the lightweight everyday pick, and the Pro 10 review covers the large-display flagship.
